Monogram Scrimshaw Mini Basket Bag

The mini Monogram Scrimshaw Basket Bag is darling! Fits a large wallet but in a petite basket. It has a natural colored cotton lining with a pocket and drawstring closure. The black silk fabric is place horizontally. The Scrimshaw medallion has a brass bezel and etched in black. 7"tall x 10"wide x 4"deep Hand woven in Thailand from the choking river weed, water hyacinth! It is cleared from the rivers then dried and the outer layers stripped to reveal the blond center. Our village then weaves the strands into our designs. The handles are local vines. They are soaked bent and lacquered.
