Coastal Hyannisport Straw Basket Bag

Our Hyannisport square baskets have cotton lining and drawstring closure. Roomy enough for a large wallet and the rest of your stuff making this bag the perfect day to day size. Hand woven in Thailand from the choking river weed, water hyacinth! It is cleared from the rivers then dried and the outer layers stripped to reveal the blond center. Our village then weaves the strands into our designs. The handles are local vines. They are soaked bent and lacquered.  Decorated with your choice of casting and your choice of grosgrain ribbon.
